Yanoda is originally a phonogram consists of Ya, No, Da, indicating the numeral words "one, two, three" in the Hainan dialect. Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone has put new meanings to these phonograms: "Ya means innovation", "No" represents promise and "Da" refers to practice. The concept of Yanoda here intends to perpetuate the native cultures and exhibit the essence of Chinese traditional culture.

Nantian Hotspringis the largest open-air hotspring in Sanya Hainan Island, located in the east of Sanya. The average temperature of thermal mineral water is 57°C. South Bay Monkey Island Is located 5 kilometers from Lingshui County. There are nearly 400 types of tropical plants on the island and almost a hundred types of animals. The sea is beautiful and the rocks are grotesquely-shaped. 21 groups of thousand of macaques live here. Several crowds have been domesticated. The best time to observe the monkeys is when the feeder feed them during the two splendid performances held daily. The monkeys jump and run with trees swinging and grass moving upon whistling.

About 5 km (3 miles) south of Sanya City in Hainan Province lies a hill extending in the shape of an enthralling deer looking back. This hill is the very same one mentioned in the legend of the Li Minority Group.

Nanshan (South Mountain) is the southernmost mountain in China. It is situated 40 miles west of Sanya, the only tropical seaside city in China. Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone is a rare extra large-scale eco-cultural tourism zone with an area of 50 square km including sea area of more than 10 square km.
